smalltouch ApS is a small Danish company, with clients all over Europe and some activities worldwide smalltouch develops and produces industrial solutions (m2m) within the area of navigation components such as INS units (inertial navigation system)and other support components for the GPS/GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) market since 1998.
Today the company is owned by Del Pino Holding ApS and Mercon AS which is a company specialized in business development.
In the year of 2000 smalltouch began a long course of development within the area of MEMS-based INS navigation, mainly with a major client (The Danish Road Administration). In 2003 smalltouch shipped the first units, that was named smallPOS (small Position and Orientation System)!
Parallel with the smallPOS development, the company has developed other components for high-end position GPS/GNSS receivers such as the unit today named smallTRIP that is sold all over the world.
The company's present focus is maintaining these technologies and carry on further development in the field of UMTS(3G)/CDMA for the smallTRIP series.
